Fairfax Neighborhood Technology Center

Free computer training classes are offered at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels to area residents. The classes cover a range of topics including, Introduction to Computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet/Email. We also cover some specialty topics including Smartphones, Online Shopping, and African American Studies.
Classes are comprised of five-week sessions and are offered Monday through Thursday, with open lab available on Fridays.
FRDC also offers Workforce Readiness assistance for residents who are seeking employment.
Workforce readiness assistance covers the following:
  • Resume formatting and editing
  • Cover Letters
  • Online Job Applications
  • Online Job Search
