Quebec Serenity Gardens

As a result of a grant from the Re-Imagining Cleveland Program, FRDC will create a small neighborhood park and gardening site on six vacant parcels located at the corner of East 100th and Quebec Avenue near Bolton Elementary School. Quebec Serenity Gardens will feature gravel walkways, seating areas, and opportunities for urban gardening in an open but fenced in environment. Neighbors will be engaged in the final planning process with work on the park beginning in the spring of 2010.

A second green space will be created linking East 95th Street to East 97th Street between Cedar and Quincy Avenues. The plan will be to improve three vacant parcels and will follow existing dirt paths to enhance the walkways with landscaping and seating areas. Security will be improved by re-directing existing street lights and eliminating overgrown areas that block sight lines. Work on this project will begin in the spring of 2010.
